biography
Ari Brielle is a visual artist working across painting, video and photography. Her work combines personal narrative with American history and contemporary culture in order to challenge and re-define truth, power, and autonomy.
Brielle completed her BA in Interdisciplinary Art & Design at the University of North Texas in 2016 and in 2023 she received her MFA in Intermedia from the University of Texas at Arlington. Her work has been included in many solo and group exhibitions including Is it Real?, Lagoon Studio, Dallas, Texas; Reclamation, Various Small Fires, Dallas, Texas; 27, Presa House Gallery, San Antonio, Texas; Rooted, Dallas Museum of Art, Dallas, Texas; and Texas Biennial: A New Landscape, A Possible Horizon, McNay Art Museum, San Antonio, Texas; and Safe Place, Oak Cliff Cultural Center, Dallas, Texas.
